A 16-year-old boy from Cardiff has been arrested on suspicion of malicious communications following alleged comments made online after the death of Leeds teacher Ann Maguire.

South Wales Police have confirmed a teenager has been arrested by officers investigating social media comments following the stabbing of Leeds schoolteacher Ann Maguire.

A 16-year-old boy from Cardiff has been arrested on suspicion of malicious communications following comments made on social media.

He has been bailed pending further investigation.

A Cardiff teenager has been arrested by police investigating an 'offensive and threatening' social media message following the death of Leeds schoolteacher Ann Maguire.

The 16-year-old boy was arrested yesterday by South Wales Police after members of the public raised concerns with West Yorkshire Police.

He was bailed pending a psychiatric assessment.

Two other people have been arrested in relation to messages allegedly posted on social networking sites after Mrs Maguire was fatally stabbed on April 28th.
