The Archbishop of Wales, Dr Barry Morgan has issued a Christmas message to the people of Wales.
In it, he encourages adults to 'regain a child’s sense of wonder' of the world in which we live.
The Archbishop, will preach at Llandaff Cathedral this evening and on Christmas Day.
The Archbishop of Wales will say tomorrow that physical punishment of children should be ruled out, and they deserve as much care and respect as adults.
– Archbishop of Wales Dr Barry MorganJesus believed that children were not just an asset for the future or a commitment to be undertaken for the sake of society. They were of infinite value as children. They deserved as much respect and care as any other human being.
Dr Morgan is speaking at a vigil service in Cardiff to mark Universal Children’s Day
