A 19-year-old woman has been airlifted to hospital after suffering head, back and shoulder injuries following a fall in Snowdonia.
The teenager fell 15ft from a footpath on to rocks at a beauty spot near Betws y Coed.
An ambulance service paramedic was called and a dozen Ogwen Valley mountain rescue team volunteers were needed to set up a rope system and stretcher her up from the Fairy Glen gorge.
A coastguard rescue helicopter from Caernarfon was later sent to airlift the injured woman to hospital.
North Wales Police is appealing for information after a large number of handbags and accessories were stolen from a shop in Betws-y- Coed.
The ‘Bridge’ and ‘Radley’ bags were stolen sometime between 6pm on Monday 11th April and and 8am yesterday, Tuesday 12th April, from the Anna Davies store.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.
The A5 has reopened after flooding near A470 (Waterloo Bridge).
