"We've been working on [De Gabay] over the last year in Butetown with the whole community" says National Theatre Wales Artistic Director John McGrath.
"A group of young Somali men came to us asking if we could help them tell their story in a very different way to the way it's usually told".
A theatre production celebrating Cardiff's Somali culture has taken place on the city's streets.
Butetown has the largest Somali community in Europe.
Today, performances have taken place in people's homes, ending with two parades ending at the Senedd in Cardiff Bay.
Around 15 people had to leave their Cardiff flats after a fire broke out early this morning.
The blaze started on the second storey of the property in Loudon Square, Butetown.
Crews from South Wales Fire & Rescue say no one was injured and the fire is now under control. The last fire engine at the scene is due to leave soon.
