A union has called on transport company Cardiff Bus to work with them in order to prevent a series of one day strikes next month.
Workers at Cardiff Bus have rejected a two-year pay offer and will cary out a series of one day strikes starting on September 2. The union says it is "very angry" at the company's unwillingness to improve their current pay offer.
There are fears the strikes could coincide with some of the busiest days of the year when Rugby World Cup matches are played in the capital. The Millennium Stadium is set to host four of the matches including Wales versus Uruguay on September 20 and Wales versus Fiji on October 1.
Cardiff Bus has been approached for comment.
