Shadow Rural Affairs minister Antoinette Sandbach has welcomed the Welsh Government's decision to halt work on its Control of Dogs bill.
Labour AM Julie Morgan, who's a long-term campaigner on control of dogs legislation, has told ITV News that she's disappointed by the Welsh Government's decision to halt its bill.
The Welsh Government has halted its plans to introduce new laws on the control of dangerous dogs. The minister responsible, Alun Davies, has told AMs that he wants to look at working with counterparts in the UK Government on developing rules for both Wales and England.
As a result he says the Welsh Government has 'for the moment, suspended further work on the Control of Dogs (Wales) Bill.'
