Motorists in Cardiff could face paying congestion charges under new proposals being considered by the City Council.
But Eluned Parrott, the Liberal Democrat AM for South Wales Central disagrees with the idea.
Welsh Liberal Democrats have criticised Carwyn Jones' Welsh Government for failing to keep promises to come up with a strategy for manufacturing. The party's business spokesperson, Eluned Parrott claims the First Minister made the pledge as far back as his campaign to become Welsh Labour leader.
But she says that in March last year the First Minister stated it would be published in the autumn. Ms Parrott said,
Last week in the chamber, I explicitly asked the First Minister when we could expect to finally see the government's manufacturing strategy, a question he decided not to answer. The manufacturing sector needs leadership and clear direction from this Welsh Government. Either there is a Strategy in the works or there isn't and we've now reached the absurd situation where not even the First Minister seems to know.
