Cardiff and Vale University Health Board says it will work with police as they investigate allegations relating to Jimmy Savile and the Cardiff Royal Infirmary. The board says it has investigated an allegation by one adult about the shamed television star in the early 1960s.
Cardiff Royal Infirmary is among the hospitals involved in the Jimmy Savile abuse investigation.
Health Minister Norman Lamb confirmed its inclusion in a written Parliamentary answer to a question by Tim Loughton MP.
13 hospitals across the UK are under investigation, following revelations of abuse carried out by the DJ and broadcaster.
The reports are expected to be completed by June 2014.
