Davies and Jones out of Autumn campaign

Centre Jonathan Davies and Prop Adam Jones have been ruled out of the rest of Wales' Autumn International campaign, the WRU have confirmed.

Davies left the field during Wales 15-24 loss to South Africa on Saturday after damaging a pectoral muscle during the build up to the Springbok's opening try.

Jones limped out of action in the first half of the same game after damaging a calf muscle.

Scarlets away at Aironi

The Scarlets travel to Aironi this afternoon, needing a win to keep the pressure on the teams above them in the race for the final RaboDirect PRO12 play-off spot. The Llanelli side have won three out of their last four league games - but have only triumphed once away from home in 2012.

24-year-old Wales centre Jonathan Davies will captain the Scarlets for the first time.

The region has done a lot to support my rugby career to date and it's where I feel at home as a player and where I feel I am best placed to further my ambitions both at regional and international level. There's a strong and ambitious spirit in this team and we know what it means to wear the Scarlets shirt.
