Police search for pensioner missing on Boxing Day

Gwent Police are appealing for information on a missing 76 year old man from the Llanhilleth area. David Snook was last seen at 1pm on Boxing Day in Hafodarthen Road

He is described as being 5 foot 3, with a slight build and wearing glasses and was seen in a blue pullover and jeans, but no coat.

Specialist search officers supported by the air support unit have been deployed since yesterday afternoon to search for Mr Snook, and the search continued overnight.

If anyone sees Mr Snook or has information about his whereabouts, they are asked to contact Gwent Police on 101 quoting log 164 26/12/13.

Police are searching for a man, believed to be originally from Pembrokeshire, who's been missing in London since Friday.

They say the disappearance of 23 year-old Gianni Sonvico is "completely out of character".

He was last seen at an Underground station.

Police appeal for information about missing pensioner

South Wales Police are appealing for information on the whereabouts of Anita Jackson from Uplands, Swansea.

The 71-year-old was last seen in Dunvant on Monday morning.

Officers say there are increasingly concerned for her welfare and have been carrying out enquiries across the city and areas of the Gower she is known to visit including Horton and Rhossili.

Anita is described as being of slight build, 5ft 4in tall, with silver grey curly hair and was last seen wearing a blue jumper.

Anyone who has seen Anita or has any information which may assist police is asked to call South Wales Police on 101.

Body of missing mum found on beach

Police say a body washed up on a Merseyside beach is that of a missing Llandudno mum.

Anne-Marie Sarjantson, 29, was last seen at her parents' home in Maes yr Orsedd, Llandudno, on August 3.

Her disappearance sparked a major search around the Great Orme headland.

Yesterday a body was found at Formby.

Police are not treating the death as suspicious and the matter has been reported to the coroner.

Police appeal for missing pensioner from Abertridwr

Police are appealing for two woman seen on CCTV to help them with their inquiries into a missing pensioner from Abertridwr.

Officers believe the pair might have seen Trevor Elias the night he went missing.

They were seen walking ahead of him on Commercial Street toward Senghenydd Square.

77-year-old Elias went missing during the early hours of Friday 6th April.

Trevor is described as being approximately six feet tall, of very thin build, and has brown short hair. He wears glasses.

If anyone has any information about his whereabouts that night or since, call Gwent Police on 101.

Police appeal over missing Newport teenager

Gwent Police are appealing for information about the whereabouts of 16-year-old Chantelle Vickery from Newport.

She was last seen in the Bettws area at about 2pm on Wednesday May 16th

Police say there is a possibility Chantelle could be in the Cardiff area, and she also frequents the Pill area and Central Library areas of Newport.

Missing teenager

Police in Newport are appealing for information regarding the whereabouts of 16 year old Chantelle Vickery.

Chantelle was last seen in the Bettws area at about 2pm on Wednesday May 16th.

She was wearing a Bettws School uniform of black trousers, and a black and yellow polo shirt.

She was also carrying a black ruck sack.

Chantelle is white, five feet four inches tall, of large build and wears her dark hair in a ponytail.

There is a possibility she could be in the Cardiff area.
