Businesses based in a council-run centre in Pembrokeshire say they are fearing for its future as a month-long consultation gets underway.
Pembrokeshire County Council has begun a review of the future use of Ocean Lab at Goodwick near Fishguard, saying it cost £73,000 to run last year.
Judith Cresswell, who has run the café in Ocean Lab for the last five years, says business owners are now facing an uncertain future amid fears the centre could be closed.
Judith says her business is thriving and can employ up to a dozen people during the summer months.
The authority says a review of the centre was appropriate as planning permission for the development of a nearby marina complex had been granted.
