There was a ripple of applause from AMs in the Senedd chamber this afternoon when Presiding Officer Rosemary Butler welcomed the Supreme Court judgement. She told members that she would now take the next steps required to enable the disputed Local Government byelaws bill to become law.
Rosemary Butler had been thinking of allowing former Assembly Members the opportunity to acquire passes to enter the Assembly building. But, after opposition, she reveals that plan has now been shelved.
She also told be that any legislation regarding lobbyists in Cardiff Bay must be created in the National Assembly - not Westminster.
