ITV's Text Santa appeal speaks to 6-year-old competition winner Isaac Smith
There are just a few days to go to this Friday's Text Santa fundraiser on ITV. The appeal raised four million pounds last year. This year the work of a talented 6 year old from Pontypool will feature in programmes on the day.
Isaac Smith from Pontypool won a competition to come up with a story and drawings for a short animation with Text Santa characters for a CITV Special. He'll be in the studios in London to see his film shown to the nation.
Before he set off, Jane Solomons went to meet him and view the prize winning work.
For the thousands of people who are full time carers for family or friends taking a real break is difficult at Christmas without the support and advice from a charity specially for carers.
James Wright went along to meet one of those who's thankful for that help.

ITV Wales presenters Ruth Wignall and James Wright helped shoppers pack their bags at a local supermarket today in aid of the Text Santa charity appeal.
They volunteered at the 'Biggest Bag Pack Ever' at ASDA stores across Wales to help some of the UK's most vulnerable people.
£520 was raised in just one hour at the Leckwith branch.
This year’s charities are Age UK, Anthony Nolan, Carers UK, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Together for Short Lives and Whizz-Kidz.
