North Wales Fire and Rescue are tackling three separate mountain fires on the edge of Snowdonia. Appliances from Llanberis, Bangor and Menai Bridge are trying to bring the fire at Moel y Ci, near Bethesda under control.
Fire engines from Caernarfon and Porthmadog have also been dealing with a gorse fire at Ceunant, near Caernarfon. An area of around 100 square metres of gorse and bracken has also caught fire at Rachub in Gwynedd. North Wales fire service had already dealt with 52 similar fires since last Thursday.
Firefighters across Wales are launching "Project Wildfire" to help tackle deliberate grass and mountain fires.
