Court appearance for teenager over Pentyrch death
An 18-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a man whose body was found in his fire damaged home.
David Evans, 64, was discovered by firefighters in the village of Pentyrch, on the outskirts of Cardiff, in January after they extinguished a blaze at his one-bedroom bungalow.
Bleddyn King, 18, of Abercynon, appeared at Cardiff Crown Court today charged with murder.
King, who appeared by video link, did not enter a plea and there will be another hearing on May 21.
