The Assembly's standards of conduct committee has recommended that the Labour AM for Llanelli Keith Davies is censured for an incident in a Cardiff hotel. He admitted that he was adversely affected by drink and accompanied by a woman who was with him 'for the purpose of further indulging in drink'.
AMs will decide next week whether to pass the censure motion. The committee concluded that it was not a case where there was the power to suspend Mr Davies from sitting in the Assembly.
Details of why Keith Davies AM was asked to leave a Cardiff Bay hotel are revealed in a report by the Assembly's standards commissioner.
