A driver, who was alleged to have been drunk has crashed into a Barry home causing thousands of pounds worth of damage. The driver believed to have been in his twenties was breathalysed at the scene.
This is the second time it has happened to the family, who were in bed at the time. There were no injuries but the family are said to be shaken by the latest incident as rubble and debris had entered their living room.
Local Councillor Richard Bertin said: “I am again going to demand that the Vale of Glamorgan Council make safety improvements at this busy junction including the installation of an arrestor barrier to hopefully prevent any further vehicles landing in the homes in the area.”
