Swansea City have offered their condolences to the family of Stephen Healey, who was with the club as a youngster. Captain Healey, from 1st Battalion, the Royal Welsh, was killed in Afghanistan over the weekend.
We are saddened to hear of the death of former defender Stephen Healey. The 29-year-old served his apprenticeship at the Swans, he also played for Llanelli and Port Talbot Town in the Welsh Premier League. Everyone at Swansea City Football Club would like to offer their condolences to Stephen’s family and friends at this difficult time.
