A group of wounded servicemen from the charity Walking With The Wounded scaled Mount Snowdon last night to light one of four flames at the UK's peaks.

Beacon chains have a long history in the UK, and were put together to celebrate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee in 1897, as well as the Silver and Golden Jubilees in 1977 and 2002.
