'Urgent action' needed to improve lives of older people
An alliance of twenty charities is calling for 'urgent action' to improve the lives of older people in Wales. A report says more than a hundred-thousand older people are living in poverty. One in five have such low incomes they struggle to make ends meet. Four in ten say they feel lonely.
The Older People's Commissioner for Wales says she welcomes the report and recognises that work needs to be done.
