A 57-year-old man has appeared before magistrates in Llandudno charged with the murder of his wife, whose body was found in the boot of a car.
John Yates, from Warrington in Cheshire, is accused of killing his wife Barbara, who was 49. Her body was found in the boot of a car outside a police station in St Asaph, Denbighshire on Wednesday.
In court, Mr Yates spoke only to confirm his name, address and date of birth. He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Mold Crown Court on Monday.
