Deeside Industrial Estate chosen for £800 million residual waste site
Deeside Industrial Estate has been chosen as the site for a new facility to divert only non-recyclable (residual) waste from landfill. The project will be operational from 2017 and expects to process 150,000 tonnes of waste a year - costing £800m over 25 years.
