Dyfed Powys Police are appealing for witnesses following the theft of £500 in cash from a home in the Mount Estate, Milford Haven.
The theft occurred in Larch Road between 12:30pm and 5:30pm on Tuesday 18th September 2012.
Detective Geoff Asson said “This is a particularly despicable theft as the money taken was raised to help a four year-old girl who suffers with a severe condition. “
Brooke Keesmaat suffers from Ectodermal dysplasia, which causes baldness. The £500 stolen was intended to purchase a custom made wig for Brooke.
It’s upsetting to think that someone has been in our home, but it’s more upsetting that this money was raised to help Brooke have a better quality of life.
As she gets older, her appearance is important to her, this wig would have changed her life, we are devastated
Following our story about Brooke Keesmaat, whose charity money was stolen, a donor has come forward to help.
Police describe the stealing of money raised to buy a wig for Brooke Keesmaat - who has a condition that causes baldness - as 'despicable'.
