New rules will see workers automatically enrolled into a workplace pension.
A UK wide reform is currently under way, with many workers facing changes to their pension from today.
"The winners are workers, although they may not feel it at the time because they're going to see an additional deduction coming from their wages" says Siobhan Mail.
"In the bigger scheme of things I'm sure that when they retire they'll be grateful for being part of a company scheme, especially for those people who haven't got any provision for the moment."
