The family of Paul Trevelyan, who was found dead at his Nottage home on Sunday, has released the following tribute:
“Paul was a loving husband and a dearly loved father, son, brother, brother-in-law, nephew, uncle and son-in-law.
“He was extremely hard-working and very highly respected by his work colleagues and friends.
“As a gentle, kind and thoughtful person, he was always willing to help others. He was a family man and enjoyed the simple pleasures in life.
“The family have been left in a state of shock and are trying to come to terms with the loss of Paul.”
A 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
