Becky James and Elinor Barker both won medals on a magnificent day for Welsh Cycling at the Track Cycling World Cup in Colombia.

James, who built on her four titles at the British National Championships two weeks ago, took gold with partner Jess Varnish in the Team Sprint, beating Japan in a time of 33.734 seconds.

There was more medal joy for the newly formed SWI Welsh Cycling Team when Elinor Barker built on her recent success in the Junior World Time Trial Championships with silver in the Women's Team Pursuit.
