"Brutal murder of gentle and trusting man"

Detective Chief Inspector Ceri Hughes of South Wales Police described 63 year-old David Evans as a "gentle and trusting man".

She also paid tribute to Mr Evans' family saying they had shown "tremendous dignity" following this "brutal" murder.

Life sentence for Pentyrch murder
