Police investigate after 10-year-old boy knocked down

North Wales Police is investigating how a 10-year-old boy was 'seriously' injured, in a collision with a car in Gwynedd.

The incident happened at 4.30 on Friday afternoon on the A4086 near Caernarfon. The boy was knocked over by a vehicle, and taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor. He was then moved to Alder Hey Hospital on Merseyside, to treat 'serious injuries'.

Police are asking anyone with any information which may be helpful to contact them.
