More success for Becky James at Track Cycling World Cup
Becky James' strong form at the Track Cycling World Cup shows no sign of stopping. The 20-year-old from Abergavenny, who won the first gold in Glasgow in the team sprint on Friday night, cruised through the first round of the keirin this morning, and will compete for the medals again this afternoon.
Last night, James won a bronze medal in the individual sprint. She was beaten by fellow Briton Jess Varnish - her partner to win the team sprint on Friday - in the solo semi-final. The Welsh cyclist then proved too strong for Hong Kong's Lee Wai Sze in the bronze ride-off. Varnish won silver.
