Gwent Police have said this afternoon that they have been granted an extra 36 hours to question a man and a woman arrested on suspicion of the murder of a one-month-old baby.
A 43-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman from the Cwmbran area are in police custody. Police say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
