Gwent Police have said they are investigating the death of one-month-old baby girl, Amelia Jones from the Cwmbran area.
The ambulance service called the police to an address on Waun Hywel Road in Pontnewydd on Saturday night.
Amelia was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital and then to the University Hospital of Wales. She was pronounced dead on Monday 19th November. Police are continuing to question a 43-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman on suspicion of murder.
