Sgt David Joseph, who is retiring as Goat Major, led Shenkin the goat out for the final time at the Millennium Stadium yesterday.
Before the game they attracted plenty of attention from shoppers and rugby fans as they meandered through the Welsh capital.
Sgt Joseph admitted it was an 'emotional' day but said he couldn't imagine a better end to his career than appearing before a home rugby match.
