Services held following St Asaph floods

Cathedral and church services will be held today in memory of 91-year-old Margaret Hughes, who lost her life during the St Asaph floods.

The Dean of St Asaph said prayers and reflections will take place in the theme of 'Light in our Darkness' to provide hope and comfort to residents. Candles will also be lit by members of the community.

The tiny city was left devastated when the River Elwy burst its banks on Tuesday, with many facing the prospect of being homeless for Christmas.
