Sara Ege: "I blame my anger, I just lost control"

"I blame my anger, I just lost control" that was the confession of a mother found guilty of murdering her 7 year-old son and perverting the course of justice.

Thirty two year-old Sara Ege later retracted this confession but today she was found guilty by a jury at Cardiff Crown Court.

The court had heard how Yaseen Ali Ege had been beaten to death and his body set on fire.

The beatings had been carried out because her son had not memorised passages of the Koran.

The court heard Sara Ege became 'increasingly angry' at the youngster when he did not learn the text.

She will be sentenced in the new year.
