Sara Ege found guilty of murder
The jury in the trial of Sara Ege has found her guilty of the murder of her 7 year old son, Yaseen.
The court heard how the thirty two year-old beat Yaseen to death with a stick and then burned his body in an attempt to destroy the evidence.
Yaseen, was originally thought to have died in a tragic accident in the house fire.
Her husband, Yusef , who was standing trial, accused of causing or allowing the death of his son by failing to act has been found not guilty.
Sara Ege will return to court for sentencing in the new year.
