Pupils use recycled materials to decorate Christmas trees
More than 300 schoolchildren have taken part in an annual Christmas tree decorating competition at the National Botanic Garden of Wales in Carmarthenshire. Pupils decorated their trees using remade, reused and recycled materials in tune with the theme 'A Traditional Welsh Christmas.'
The winning school was Ysgol Y Castell in Kidwelly. The trees are on display in the Garden's Great Glass House.
