Swansea fan arrested for alleged racist gesture
Swansea City have confirmed one of their supporters has been arrested for allegedly making a racist gesture towards Norwich City defender Sebastien Bassong during the clubs' Premier League game this afternoon.
The alleged incident happened after Norwich's fourth goal, in a game the visitors won 4-3 at the Liberty Stadium. Bassong went to celebrate with his teammates but then motioned to referee Howard Webb that he believed he had been the victim of a racist gesture.
Webb reported it to the fourth official, and a male supporter was arrested.
