Another fine but icy cold start to the day, the difference is that some parts of east Wales is stuck with some freezing fog making it feel rather dreary and suppressing temperatures.
This afternoon sees the mix of sun, sunny spells, and freezing fog patches continue.
It feels very cold with highs of 3-4C but in the fog patches it will be even colder.
Tonight sees the return of more widespread freezing fog in east Wales. Further west there's more of a breeze to stop it forming. It will be very cold everywhere with lows of -4C, colder still in the countryside.
Wednesday feels like a repeat performance with winter sunshine and once again, lingering fog patches. A very cold start to the day once again, but as the day progresses more cloud builds in from the west with rain eventually arriving in Pembrokeshire. Highs of 4-5C.
That rain will push across the country overnight, as the rain hits cold air and frozen surfaces we may well see snow and sleet, this could lead to icy roads and pavements before milder air returns the snow back to rain.
Icy by night, chilly by day - brace yourself for a cold week ahead.
High pressure keeps the weather chilly by day, icy by night, with an increasing risk of freezing fog.
