Santa reunites schoolgirl with her soldier dad for Christmas
Father Christmas has made the dream of one schoolgirl from Rhondda Cynon Taf come true.
During a visit to Santa at his Christmas Cottage in Aberdare, 8-year-old Tia Bryant told him: "All I want for Christmas is my soldier dad to come home to us."
At that moment, there was a knock at the door and behind it stood Tia's father, Lloyd, who had flown in especially from Afghanistan.
Lloyd Bryant, who is serving with the Royal Tank Regiment, had returned home to his family for Christmas and had arranged with Santa to keep his visit a surprise.
Father Christmas said: “It was a privilege to see the joy on Tia's face when she saw her Daddy standing at the door. There were lots cwtches and kisses - it was just the best Christmas present ever.”
