The future looked bleak for eight-year-old Terfel the dog after severe cataracts left him virtually blind - but a chance encounter with a stray cat has given him a new lease of life.
The cat - who has now been adopted and named 'Pwditat' - appeared to instinctively know Terfel was blind upon meeting him. She has stayed by his side ever since, acting as his guide.
We spoke to Anne Cragg, who is currently caring for Terfel and Pwditat, about the unbreakable bond the two share.
