Llanelli Town councillors will this evening discuss a proposal for their authority to break away from Carmarthenshire County Council.
The idea has come from the mayor, Winston Lemon, who says Llanelli has been neglected by the larger authority, and radical change is needed to bring in jobs and revive the town centre.
