The Welsh Government has responded to concerns raised by the Charity Retail Association over changes to business rates relief.
Professor Brian Morgan, chair of the independent panel that produced the review into business rates for the Welsh Government earlier this year, has been asked by Business Minister Edwina Hart to examine the issue of business rates relief for charities, as well as social enterprises and credit unions.
Professor Morgan held a call for evidence which closed in December 2012. He will be bringing charities, business and other stakeholders together to discuss the issues and will be reporting back in early spring.
