Compared to yesterday, sunshine will be a a premium today. More cloud arrives from the west later, meanwhile early mist and fog patches may linger, although some places will remain bright. By the end of the day some light rain returns to south Wales.
It will feel cooler than today with highs of 5-7C.
More light rain edges across the country on Friday, followed by more persistent and slightly heavier rain on Saturday. Sunday sees the rain clearing, cloud hanging on but much colder temperatures. Temperatures will remain in low single figures marking the start of a cold spell.
