Llandudno hotel voted 'best in the world' for service

The owners of a hotel in North Wales voted the world's best for service say it's their personal touch that's made them so successful.

The Lauriston Court Hotel in Llandudno fought off the likes of The Ritz to be awarded the title byb travel website TripAdvisor. The result was based on thousands of reviews from global travellers.

"It's because we're so personal" say owners Ian and Carol-Lynn Robbins.

"We get to know our guests really really well and that's because we've only got 11 bedrooms. Any more and I think we would really struggle because we really like to make it really personal".
