Lloyd George's birthday marked in Westminster and Gwynedd
Celebrations have taken place in Westminster and in Gwynedd to mark the hundred and fiftieth birthdays of one of Wales' greatest ever statesman.
David Lloyd George was born in Manchester but brought up on the Ll?n Peninsula. He became an MP and eventually Prime Minister at the time of the First World War.
He was also responsible for many social reforms, including the introduction of the old age pension.
