The main snow band has cleared but there continue to be a few snow flurries around during this evening. Some of today's melted snow will re-freeze overnight so now there is the added danger of icy roads. It will be very cold with lows of minus 4C, and it could be colder in rural places.
Saturday is mainly cloudy with a few snow showers around. It will be very cold and the breeze will make it chillier still. There may be some brighter spells around Cardigan Bay. Highs of 1-3C.
The next few days will see more wintry showers and remain very cold.
