Health shake-up: Neonatal and older people's mental health
The health board confirmed proposals to use resources released by closing Uned Meirion and Uned Hafan to strengtehn community and liaison services for older people's mental health care.
There will also be a reduction of beds at Ysbyty Cefni and closure of beds at Glan Traeth along with inpatient care at the Ablett Unit, Glan Clwyd, until a new hospital is developed in Rhyl.
Special Care Baby Units will be retained at the Wrexham Maelor and Glan Clwyd, but moving long-term neo-natal care to Arrowe Park on the Wirral.
