A GP who checked a group of Abercarn schoolchildren after their bus crashed this morning reports they have all escaped serious injury.
A paramedic brought all the children on the bus into the waiting room.
They seemed to be quite happy and chatty but a couple were seen by a GP just to make sure they were all fine. There were no serious injuries.
Parents came to pick them up. They were obviously very worried after being at the scene and seeing all the flashing lights of the police and fire crews.
They were all very relieved when they came in and found their children safe and well.
Around 16 children aged 8-12 were on board when the bus left the road in the village of Llanfach.
