Trains suspended between Bargoed and Rhymney tomorrow
Arriva Trains Wales have confirmed train services between Bargoed and Rhymney will be suspended tomorrow to enable Network Rail engineers to clear a landslide which derailed a train this morning.
A replacement bus service and a temporary timetable have been introduced between Bargoed and Rhymney stations, with immediate effect.
The current estimate for the resumption of the normal timetable is from the start of services on Friday 1st February, subject to the successful completion of safety checks.
