Ben Thompson's family 'increasingly worried'

A group of around 30 people including Ben Thompson’s wife Jo, friends and colleagues have made the journey from Haverfordwest to Cardiff and are being kept updated on the search.

Ben’s family and friends are getting increasingly worried and we are keeping them fully updated on our search.We would like to thank members of the public who have responded to our appeals for information.

We are now particularly keen to hear from anyone who has seen Ben since 7.17pm on Saturday.

Ben is described as 5ft 9in tall, with short brown hair, blue eyes, and was last seen wearing brown leather lace-up boots, blue jeans, and a white shirt with blue thin stripes.

Rugby fan's body identified

South Wales Police says the body found in the River Ely on Tuesday is that of missing Haverfordwest man Ben Thompson. The 34-year-old went missing in February after going to a Six Nations game in the capital.
